Flens met laszitting

Flenzen met te lassen zitting zijn die waarin de buis wordt ingebracht totdat deze contact maakt met de zitting die dezelfde inwendige diameter heeft als de buis, waardoor een gladde leiding zonder holtes overblijft.

Het bevestigen van de flens aan de buis gebeurt door een lasrups rond de naaf aan te brengen. De algemene toepassing van deze flenzen is in pijpleidingen die bedoeld zijn voor chemische processen, vanwege hun bijzondere eigenschap om de leiding een constante doorsnede te geven.
